Twi FF WTF moment? #1

Keep in mind my thoughts regarding criticism...I will only single out writers/stories when I have something good to say.

Still, there are times reading Twilight FF when I get a general What the Fuck Feeling?

Like this description (not a direct quote to protect the guilty):

Edward is a guard in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany.  Bella is his Jewish prisoner.  Will their love prevail?


I have no words.  To take such a terrible event in mankind's history...its really beyond offensive.  Not to mention absurd--   a Nazi is not falling in love with a Jewish prisoner. Just never.  

So my WTF moment#1--  Stories that take place during the Holocaust (Because sad to say there are more than one!!!) and any other type of genocide.  Just, no!

The World's a Critic...

Let me be clear:  I am very aware that twi ff writers don't get paid for their work.   I would never be mean for the sake of being mean.  Any issues I have will be stated generally rather than specific writers/stories.  I only post positive reviews on ff.net-  like mom always said if you have nothing nice to say why say anything at all?

On the same note, I look forward to highlighting those writers/stories that have really excelled.  Its the only way I can say 'thank you'

Hello, readers and writers!   I'm a little late to the party...my first experience with the world of Twilight was when the first movie came out on DVD.  Whatever you want to say about it, Kristen and Robert owned it and that lead me to the books.

The heart and soul of Twilight is the love story, the characterizations.  It certainly wasn't the writing style!  That's why it was a joy to discover Twilight FanFiction.  There are some amazingly talented authors and I am so grateful to their sharing their talents.

Of course with all lamb comes errr mutton.  With tens of thousands of fics, there are some real doozies.   They, too, deserve their time in the sun.  As always, with love and affection...
